    Thumbs up Details on the RAT/ Tangerine Bus Header!!

    After almost 3 years this is finally completed! Lots of people have been waiting for it, in this post Chris and I will address the cost, availability and etc of the system.

    First off, you must use 72-74 or 79 heaterboxes. The 75-78 heaterbox system will not support the use of this header and no plans are being made for an adaptation of the unit to work with the 75-78 arrangement.

    72-74 heaterboxes will bolt onto any oval exhaust port TIV Bus engine, including those from 75-78. We sell the new 72-74 heaterboxes in the store and are working on making a run of heaterbox bypass tubes to compliment this header for those who do not want heat. These will be available in about 6 weeks.

    Trailer hitches:
    we can't make an exhaust system to accomodate dozens of different factory and home built trailer hitches. We won't even attempt this as it would increase complexity of the system as well as costs. If you have a trailer hitch you'll have to accomodate the exhaust system, not vice versa.

    The first 10 units will be introductory priced and sold directly by Tangerine Racing. These first ten units will be priced later today by Chris Foley, only ten units will be sold at the intro price!

    After these first 10 units all future sales will go through the Type 4 Store and we'll more than likely do them in "batches" keeping few of the systems in stock. These batches will be arranged to coincide with Chris' production schedule.

    Costs for the units will be outlined by Chris and I later today, in this thread.

    Once again, the first 10 systems will be intro priced and sold by Chris directly.

    Ok,
    I am ready to take 10 orders with payment direct to CFR-Tangerine Racing Products. As soon as this first batch is complete all inquiries should be directed to Jake and the Type 4 Store as he will be the sole distributor.
    Price: $465 - includes the Dynomax Ultra-Flo Stainless muffler and angled stainless tip. Shipping via FedEx Ground will be added based on your location. Payment may be made by Paypal or check/money order (I can not accept credit cards directly, however Paypal can on my behalf). Send email to: sales at tangerineracing dot com. Be sure to include your full name, shipping address, phone # and payment method. I will reply with your final price including shipping/handling/insurance. All orders must be prepaid. Expect about 6 weeks for delivery.
    It has been a challenge to create a true high performance exhaust system for this application. Thank you for your patience.
